I’m Rebecca Prien, Attorney and Artist.
And I take care of the legal side of things so you can focus on your creative work.
I want your creativity-driven, heart-centered business to thrive. I can help you foster (not distance) your business relationships, provide clarity when hiccups arise, and protect what you’ve created.
Working with me is different, I promise. I make law accessible and digestable—friendly even.
Rebecca Prien, the attorney you have been dreaming of your entire life.
Kind. Wise. Non-sleazy. Non-scary. Works with smart, goofy, creative types. Cares about you. A lot.
Basically she’s neat.
And she’s offering something that is so so so needed in this world.
– Havi Brooks, fluentself.com, naming me a business she’s betting on in 2010
How?
I translate.
I do creative-legal-creative translation.
Which means: I listen; I associate the relevant legal rules and concepts with the situation; and then I explain. I use clear, concise language. I draw. I make the legal mumbo jumbo accessible.
I get that the law is a foreign, baffling, snore of a language. And you need someone to translate. To make it friendly (or at least friendlier). That’s what I’m here for. I run interference.
You just seem too good to be true, the answer to so many online prayers. I love your writing and your funny, breezy way of explaining things. –Megan
